Artist Biography
Alexander Gore was born in 1958 in St. Petersburg, Russia where his art consumed his imagination and life, and he followed a very Modernist style. The authorities and the "establishment" there decreed he had three choices: he could change to a more traditional style of art; he could leave the country; or he was to be inducted into the Russian army. He chose to leave for the United States. He continued his search for an arena, where he could get an artistic experience. After 10 years of painting in New York, Alexander Gore moved to Miami, where he opened his own gallery. Gore's style of art reflects a powerful surrealistic influence and incorporates countless travel experience. He works in abstract and semi-abstract forms, weightless in time and space. He has created a new style of art he calls " Agorism", a style based on principle and motivated by surrealistic image.
