Artist Biography

Antonio Vianello was a young Venetian painter. Contrary to the iconographic representation of traditional Venetian life, the young Vianello mediates between the photographic vision and the sign; interacting, it proposes extremely incisive new geometries in the brightness of an unusual whiteness. His works are difficult to interpret as the painter uses mixed techniques thus obtaining: transparencies and depth of field, accentuating black and sooty details in the focal points. -Carlo Ravagnan
