Artist Biography
Cara Barer is a Houston, Texas artist known for creating book sculptures. She works mainly with photomontages and creating her book sculptures from dying books and forming them into different shapes. Her work "When the Ice Melts" was featured at Glasstire. Her motivation for creating these works are to blur the lines between objects, sculpture, and photography.
