Carol Gray grew up in New York. She began her education at the Brooklyn Art Museum. She later studied at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She received her MFA in 1980 in oil painting and printmaking at the University of Delaware. She now teaches landscape drawling at the college level. She prefers to paint landscaped. Her work has been on display at the Arnot Art Museum, The Delaware Art Museum, Immaculata University and many more including Penn State University.
