Colorful tropical jungle landscape painting by Haitian artist Michael-Ange. The work features a central nude female figure set next to a body of water and surrounded by lush vegetation, monkeys, and butterflies. Signed in the front lower left corner. Currently hung in a gold and linen frame.

Born in 1965, Michael-Ange got his artistic training from Saincilus Ismael like his younger brothers Faiderbe and Ernst. At 17, three years later, in 1984 he broke away from the master and developed his own style. A skilled painter, each is of his paintings is the result of patient effort and minute observation. His mythical mermaids, butterfly men wandering through paradisiacal jungles will always be remembered. He died in 1999 at the age of 34.
