Abstract textured three dimensional composition painted with bright blue pigment by contemporary Houston, TX artist Matthew Reeves. The dynamic texture combined with the intensity of the blue creates a lively energy. The uniqueness of this blue does not derive from the ultramarine pigment, but rather from the matte, synthetic resin binder in which the color is suspended which allows the pigment to maintain as much of its original qualities and intensity of color as possible.

Matthew Reeves is the owner of Reeves Art & Design. He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in business and he practices as an artist as a hobby. He lives and works in Houston, Texas.
