Breccia Marble, Giltwood

French Louis XVI period oval marble-top table, finished in fine gold gilt from the 19th century. This beautiful antique features an oval shaped brèche marble. The apron is decorated with carved motifs and square rosettes where the legs join the top. These long legs are slightly tapered and fluted, joined by an X-stretcher, and terminate in turned feet. The gold gilt is in outstanding antique condition, circa 1860.
