About
This bright and colorful painting applies abstract color theory to create a luminous landscape. The interesting color pallet and textured brush strokes add to the drama of this whimsical piece. Dolores G Runbeck worked very closely with the world-renown LA based painter Birger Sandzen. She studied under him and learned important techniques and skills from him, and helped carry on his work through her own artistic vision. It is apparent that this painting is almost identical to Sandzen's painting style. Signed in lower right corner. Hung in a brown wooden frame.
