Figurative bronze sculpture of a man with his dog hunting. The man has a drawn bow. The sculpture is mounted on a marble base. The signature is stamped on to the bronze.

Artist Biography

Louis Riché first exhibited at the Salon in Paris in 1896 at the age of nineteen. He concentrated on animal subjects gaining renown for his portrayals of dogs, particularly the German Shepherd. Riché continued to exhibit at the Salon except for the interruptions of both World Wars, working mostly with the highly respected Thiebault Freres foundry.
