Mixed Media, Oil Paint

Textured block painting of lemons and lemon halves. Mainly deep yellow and light browns. The lines appear to be carved into the paint creating a layered affect to the composition. Second Painting of Two.

Valentina Atkinson was born in 1955 in Mexico City. She studied Industrial Design at the Universidad Ibero-Americana in Mexico and textile design. She studied Communication Arts at the University of San Francisco. She has also studied at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas where she continues to work and practice her art.
