Margot Lovejoy was born in 1930 in Canada. She is a digital artist and a historian of art and technology. She is a professor at Emerita of Visual Arts at the State University of New York. Lovejoy is a recipient of a 1987 Guggenheim Fellowship and a 1994 Arts International Grand in India. She has won awards from the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1987 and in 1994 at Arts International Grant in India.
