Artist Biography
Matalon, Marlene was born on September 22, 1935 in Bronx, New York, United States. Daughter of Michael and Sonia (Dibner) Friedman. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Houston in 1968. For her postgraduate, Glassell School in 1968—1970. Chair visual arts committee, board directors Horizon Theatre, Houston, 1991. Instructor art and art history department Rice U., 1975.
