Blue tonal abstract expressionist painting with reds, yellows, and purples. The shadows of the shapes are beautifully painted creating 3-dimensional effects. The work is signed and titled on the back of the canvas. The canvas is framed in a silver floating frame.

Born in Moorhead, Minnesota, he earned a B.A. at Macalester College, studying art with Jerry Rudquist. He earned an M.F.A. from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. From 1972, he was Instructor of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia. He is known for his large canvas, abstract expressionist work.
