Gunther Temech (1942-2010) was born in Austria where he received a diploma from the Academy of Art. He lived and worked in Vienna, Munich, and Paris, after which he moved to New York. The cosmopolitan scene of New York City influenced Temech through its open culture and the daily scenes. Nevertheless, he enjoyed his European roots and returned there on a regular basis. His exhibition resume features solo shows in Austria, Switzerland, France and the USA.
