Red, blue, orange, and yellow abstract cubist mixed media painting by LA artist Neal Doty. The piece depicts colorful geometric shapes and forms that depict human faces and hands. The shapes are outlined with bright gold lines, creating more defined shapes throughout the painting. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a bio of the artist at the back. Signed by the artist at the bottom right corner. Framed in a modern black frame.

Artist Biography

Neal Doty American Artist: B. 1941-2016. Neal Doty was born in 1941 in Glendale, California. Doty studied at the Art Center School of Design (Los Angeles, 1967); Los Angeles City College (AA Degree, Fine Art, 1971); and California State University at Northridge (BA Degree, Fine Art, 1973). Doty served for the US Forces during the Viet Nam war. Neal Doty has achieved worldwide acclaim as well as many highly regarded commissions and awards for his artistic talents. Mr. Doty was awarded 1st Place in the 1976 Larchmont Art Exhibit in Los Angeles and, in 1977, worked as a commissioned artist with Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Mr. Doty's works have appeared at the N.Y. Art Expo in New York City, the Wash Art Fair in Washington, D.C., and the Basel Art Fair in Basel, Switzerland.
