Earth-toned abstract surrealist watercolor painting by Texas artist Mary Basye. The painting depicts a large tree with green bushes being uprooted with grey and blue clouds in the background. Signed by the artist at the bottom right. Framed in a beautiful deep red brown frame.
Artist Biography
Mary Basye Nicklow was born in Conroe, Texas, in 1935. She was a member of the Coldspring Area Art Leaque and Watercolor Society. Owner of the Huffman Creek Studio and Gallery, Basye enjoyed watercolor painting. Basye passed away at the age of 80 in April 2015.
