Believed to be from the late 19th century or early 20th century and is painted in the style of John Singer Sargent (American expatriate artist, considered the "leading portrait painter of his generation" ). The painting is currently displayed floating in an ornate black and gold frame with a reptile black background. Late 19th Century or Early 20th Century.
