Artist Biography
Rabie El Mesnani (b. 1981) is a Moroccan and Asilah based young artist. He is a self-taught sculptor, with most of his influences coming from the creative talents of his grandfather and his father. From an early age, El Mesnani has strived to develop his family's artistic heritage as he now patiently builds his own pictorial line. His work is sought in a purely abstracted style where he expresses what his soul interrogates. Each part of his paintings is a piece of the puzzle. Each piece is an abstract composition of elements representative of its pictorial message. His sculptures are equal to himself. El Mesnani's works carry a message for man whose mission is to prepare and protect the future of future generations, and therefore life. These same paintings give a special place to the woman, this second half of the man, who gives and perpetuates life. Rabie El Mesnani, is an artist from Asilah who has the gift and the talent to make us live the abstract through the beautiful and the concrete demonstrated by his original sculptures. His paintings are contemplative and has the power to transport you to the beyond.
