Set of four "Andover" mid-century modern black lacquered contoured spindle framed dining chairs. Two of the chairs have a solid blue upholstery and the other two have a blue checkered upholstery. Designed by Allen in 1983, these chairs were made in Italy and distributed by Stendig until going out of business in the late 1980s. Knoll took over distribution in 1993 and sold them as the Exeter chair. Each chair is signed "Stendig" and "Made in Italy" on the underside. The arm height is 26 in.
