Artist Biography

Jack Farrell is a Texan born and raised. He studied Psychology at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and the University of Houston before launching a career in remodeling and repairing historic homes which have spanned over 50 years, all the while producing art pieces for friends and admirers. He is entirely self-taught. Jack’s favorite medium is recycled steel, for its extreme flexibility and unrivaled durability. His style may be impressionistic figurative to surrealistic with a frequent humorous slant. The surfaces are naturally rusted with a preference for unusual materials and a deep patina. Jack's works are found in private collections from Texas and the USA to Europe.
