Wood and Acrylic Epoxy
About
Wood and acrylic epoxy work that is split into sections. The wood is painted black and the inner part that makes the moon is carved into the wood. Then an epoxy was poured into the sections to create the look of the work. Work is not framed.
Artist Biography
Suzanne Paquette is a San Antonio, Texas based artist. She has had 14 solo shows including, Joan Grona Gallery in San Antonio; Epitome Institute in San Antonio; Center for Spirituality & the Arts, S.A; and Weekend Gallery in Houston, Texas. Her earliest show was in 1974 and she is continuing to show her work. Her latest exhibit was at the Epitome Institue in San Antonio in 2013. She is known for producing works that are inspired by nature and she carries over the organic shapes and colors found in nature into her art work.
