Modern abstract color-field inspired painting by Houston, TX artist Margaret Nobler. The work features blocks of blue, green, purple, and red set against a yellow toned background. Currently hung in a black frame that sets off the brightness of the colors.

Margaret Nobler studied at the University of Houston, graduating with a degree in art 1950. She attended classes at the Museum of Fine Art Houston School and studied under such artists as Herbert Mears and Lowell Collins. Margaret owned Margaret Nobler Art Gallery, in Westbury Square for 5 years and organized art exhibitions in Sharpstown Shopping Center for several years.
