Pink and orange abstract figurative mixed media painting by Houston, TX artist Margaret Nobler. The painting features a figure of a female against a pink-toned floral fabric. Strips of brown burlap cloth can also be seen at the top and bottom part of the piece against a plain dark orange painted background. Unsigned. Framed in a simple wooden frame.

Artist Biography

Margaret Nobler studied at the University of Houston, graduating with a degree in art 1950. She attended classes at the Museum of Fine Art Houston School and studied under such artists as Herbert Mears and Lowell Collins. Margaret owned Margaret Nobler Art Gallery, in Westbury Square for 5 years and organized art exhibitions in Sharpstown Shopping Center for several years.
