"On the Waterfront" Blue-Toned Modernist Abstract Town Landscape Painting 20th Century

Oil on canvas

Blue-toned abstract modernist landscape by Texas artist Herb Mears. The painting depicts a town by a body of water with boats. The color palette is impeccable with the oranges glowing against the light blue background. A person walking towards the right adds more character to the painting, giving off an overall personality to the seemingly flat piece. Signed by the artist at the bottom right.
