About
Colorful abstract modern portrait painting of an evil man by Texas artist Robert Sandman. As the artist explains, "The Black Hand, or La Mano Nera in Italian, was an unorganized, secret criminal and terrorist society that was active in New York in the early 20th century. This painting was a companion piece to another painting in the Portfolio titled The Black Heart. Both paintings received First Place awards in juried competitions. They make a lovely couple." Signed in front lower left corner. Hung in a thin black frame.
